Hagenberg, Austria: November 5, 2013 — Ergonis Software today released KeyCue 7.1, an improved version of the company's popular keyboard shortcut cheat sheet. KeyCue is a handy tool for learning and remembering keyboard shortcuts. With a simple keystroke or click, KeyCue displays a table with all available keyboard shortcuts, system-wide hotkeys, as well as key combinations for triggering macros in Keyboard Maestro, QuicKeys and iKey.
All the Best Microsoft Excel Keyboard Shortcuts Amelia Griggs @howtogeek August 10, 2018, 11:23am EDT Even if you’re familiar with Microsoft Excel, you might be surprised by the number and variety of keyboard shortcuts you can use to speed up your work and generally make things more convenient. If you're familiar with keyboard shortcuts on your Windows computer, most of the same key combinations work with OneNote for Windows 10, too. The shortcuts listed in this article apply specifically to the OneNote for Windows 10 app. To quickly find a shortcut in this article, you can use Search. Press Ctrl+F, and then type your search words.
KeyCue 7 introduced a fresh new look with customizable themes, column headings for shortcut groups, arbitrary textual descriptions for shortcuts, and further great new features. It represents the most significant overhaul of the popular productivity enhancer since its initial release nearly 10 years ago.
The new version 7.1 continues along this path by adding new attributes for custom themes. It furthermore improves the search feature with a mouseless way to enter the search field. KeyCue 7.1 also offers an improved handling of special cases when checking for modifier keys that are available for KeyCue Settings, works also with CJK input methods and adds further enhancements. Visit Ergonis Software's website to learn more about the changes in this release and to download and try the new version.
The productivity paradox of keyboard shortcuts is that shortcuts were designed to increase productivity. However, productivity actually decreases when applications provide large numbers of shortcuts, in particular when the shortcuts are defined inconsistently across applications. KeyCue’s elegantly simple solution is to display an instant overview of currently available keyboard shortcuts – application-specific menu shortcuts as well as system-wide hotkeys and user-defined shortcut descriptions. Over time, KeyCue users will automatically remember frequently used shortcuts and start working more efficiently.
KeyCue has already received many awards, including a 4.5-Mice award from MacWorld magazine.
Availability and Ordering
KeyCue 7.1 requires Mac OS X 10.5.8 or newer and is fully compatible with OS X Mavericks (10.9).
The upgrade to KeyCue 7.1 is free for anyone who owns a license for KeyCue 7 or purchased a license for KeyCue 6 on or after January 1st 2013. Upgrade paths are available for customers who purchased their license before January 1st 2013. Screen reader keyboard shortcuts > NVDA
Also available in a single-page printer-friendly PDF version.
NVDA (Non-Visual Desktop Access) is a screen reader for Microsoft Windows that is totally free, yet fully functional and portable; you can download it to your PC or to portable media such as a USB stick. It was initially released in 2006 by NV Access founders Michael Curran and James Teh—blind computer programmers who believe passionately in universal access to computers.
To install NVDA: Go to http://www.nvaccess.org/download/ . We encourage you to donate if you can. If you can't, you can skip the donation and just download the software.
Note:
NVDA works well with Firefox and Chrome. NVDA also has decent support for Internet Explorer and Edge, but the best testing combinations are NVDA + Firefox and NVDA + Chrome.

NVDA shortcut keys
Note: Some keyboard shortcuts require using the NVDA modifier key. By default, both the Numpad Insert key and the Extended Insert key are set as NVDA modifier keys, but users can designate the Caps Lock key as an additional NVDA modifier key. In the tables below, the assumption is that the Insert key is being used as the NVDA modifier key. If you have changed your settings, you may need to substitute the Caps Lock key in the place of the Insert key. Note also that these keyboard shortcuts are for NVDA's desktop keyboard layout setting; some shortcuts are different when using NVDA's laptop keyboard layout setting.
Browse and Focus Modes
Browse Mode: Panotour pro 2 5 – create professional quality virtual tours. Browse mode is used when reading documents or web pages.
Focus Mode: Focus mode is used when the user enters a form or other fields that require user input.
NVDA automatically switches between Browse and Focus modes, but the user can toggle them using Insert + Space Bar.
Speech Viewer

Turn on Speech Viewer: Enabling Speech Viewer opens a window that shows everything NVDA states. This is useful for sighted users learning NVDA for testing purposes. Enable it under Tools in the NVDA menu.
